Konstantinos Th. Spyropoulos (b. 1998) has a BA in Theory and History of Art at the Athens School of Fine Arts (Greece) and then he completed his MA at the same University, where he specialised in hermetic and alchemical imagery and symbolism in gothic art and literature.

He has worked as an art-historian, art-critic, and curator. He is currently writing various articles on art criticism in prestigious newspapers and magazines in Greece. As an art historian he has successfully curated a significant number of solo and group art exhibitions in Athens, and occasionally collaborates with cultural institutions on the island of Naxos, providing services as an art advisor.

His research interests include the critical art theory, hermetic tradition, gothic art, emblem studies, palaiopsychology and geomythology.

In 2024 Spyropoulos coined the term Avant-Garde Hermeticism to describe the visual approach of artists such as Marcel Duchamp, Anselm Kiefer, Raymond Douillet etc. This term was used in his newspaper articles, lectures and workshops.

He recently started the greek art column INSIDE THE RING, which deals with arts and culture through the prism of an underground critical approach against academic sterilization and intellectualism.
